Mc Donald's New Ebi Burger

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce to you the new Ebi Burger by Mc Donald's!

I am very honoured to have been invited to the tasting session by OMy that was held in Ang Mo Kio! When I first walked into the room, it felt like I had just stepped into Japan. Everything was put together so beautifully.

Once we all sat down, we were able to look at the menu for the night. The tension was building because I really want to taste the Japanese inspired burger!

Before they began serving the food we were given a choice of drinks of either Ribena Chill or Mango Peach Chill. I am a huge peach and mango fan so it wasn't a surprise when I chose the drink with mango and peach in it haha.

While we were having our drinks, a couple of woman from the Mc Donald's team came up to talk us through the ingredients that they used to make the burger and the fries.

The Cereal Ebi Burger is a flavourful combination of succulent whole shrimp in a crunchy, cereal-coated patty, topped with shrimp paste flavoured sauce and crispy whole-leaf lettuce, served in between soft white sesame and chive buns. They really caught my attention here because I thought that shrimps in a burger would taste strange but it was actually really delicious! To compliment the Ebi burger were sweet potato fries.

They served us our meal on these really adorable Japanese trays to really get us all into the Japanese feel.

To finish off this new experience we were served with a Honeydew McFlurry.

This meal will be available all over Singapore from the 3rd of September so hurry and get your meal for $7.45 because it's only available while stocks last!! Don't forget to complete your meal with the Honeydew McFlurry for $2.90! The release of this meal is also giving you the opportunity to swap out your fries for a healthy side. Just top up $1.20 to endulge in a delicious garden salad that includes lettuce, red and white cabbage, crunchy carrots, corn kernels and tomatoes, served with a delicious Japanese dressing.

After we completely stuffed ourselves with food, it was time to take some pictures with the girls!

A huge thank you to OMy for inviting me to this wonderful experience and thanks to the girls for all the laughs and silly moments. I had a great time!
